Shipping & Returns

We want you to be happy with your experience with HandsFreeBaby.com! In addition to the warranty that each manufacturer provides, our policies were created to help you find the right carrier. If you are have trouble using your carrier once you receive it, please contact us so that we can try to help troubleshoot before you decide to return the item.

Shipping Information

Shipping costs quoted on website are for Express Mail, Priority/First Class Mail, and Parcel Post options. Priority or First Class Mail are dependant on the weight of the package. We suggest that you use the Priority Mail option, as standard delivery time is 2-3 days (although not guarenteed). All costs are for shipping within the USA. Please contact us for costs to ship to any other location. Please note that any customs fees due on International Shipping orders are the responsibility of the customer. Customs fees may need to be paid to your Postal service before delivery of your item, and are charged by your carrier, not Hands Free Baby (also see International shipping information below)..

Please note that all packages are sent with Delivery Confirmation. Once USPS records that the package has been delivered to the address you provided, it is the customers responsibility. We will gladly file a tracking request with USPS, but will not refund or replace items. Should a package be lost in transit (never recorded by USPS as delivered), Hands Free Baby will replace the contents and file a tracking request with USPS. If the original package does show up at a later date, customer must contact Hands Free Baby and we will cover costs for you to return items to us. If you would like to have SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION or INSURANCE on your package, please contact us before placing order and we will give you additional charge for this service, otherwise Delivery Confirmation will be utilized.

Items in stock are normally shipped within 48 hours of being ordered (we normally ship within 24 hours). Some items come directly from the manufacturer and may take longer. All BabyLegs shipped with Free Shipping will be shipped by First Class USPS.

International Shipping (outside USA)

If you live outside the US we CAN NOT mark your sling or other product as a gift on the customs form or list it at a lower value than the actual purchase value. Misrepresentation on a Customs Form is mail fraud and a federal criminal offense. Please DO NOT ask us to do so. Depending on your location, you may also need to pay a customs fees when you receive the package and these fees ARE NOT included in our shipping and handling costs.

Returns or Exchanges

We will gladly accept items for return or exchange within 30 calendar days of purchase (if you are giving carrier as a gift, please let us know the due date, and we will use that date). All items submitted for return or exchange must be in new, unwashed, resalable condition, with all original packaging and instructions. We MUST be contacted prior to sending back any item, or credit will not be given. If item is return in poor condition


For EXCHANGES--Please send an e-mail to exchage@handsfreebaby.com to get an authorization for exchange. A Paypal invoice for shipping costs for the new item will be e-mailed to you, and upon payment of invoice and receipt of exchange, the new item will be shipped out. We recommend purchasing insurance when shipping items back as we will not be held responsible for lost items. One exchange will be provided and then the sale is final. YOU MUST INCLUDE COPY OF PACKING SLIP AND NOTE ORDER # ON OUTSIDE OF PACKAGE.

For RETURNS-- Please send an e-mail to return@handsfreebaby.com to get an authorization for return. Your PayPal account or credit card will be credited for the amount of purchase upon receipt of item. Shipping is not refundable. Oroginal shipping cost willl be deducted from the refund, even if free shippiing was offered. We recommend purchasing insurance when shipping items back as we will not be held responsible for lost items. YOU MUST INCLUDE COPY OF PACKING SLIP AND NOTE ORDER # ON OUTSIDE OF PACKAGE.

Products that are washed, worn, scented, pet hair / lint ocvered or have incomplete packaging / instructions, missing copy of packing slip, or order # not present on outer package will be charged a restocking fee (fee dependant on product condition).  Orders returned over 30 days will not be accepted and will be returned to sender, or you will be offered a discounted store credit at our discression.

EXCEPTIONS:

  • Custom Ordered carriers are not eligible for return or exchange unless we give prior permission, as they may be harder to resell than stock items.
  • Clearance Closet items are final sale and are non-refundable or returnable.
  • Please note that for BabyLegs only unopened packages can be returned sue to sanitary issues (unless there is a design flaw in them). If you are purchasing multiple pairs, please only one ONE package to try them on first.

Discount Coupons

Please note that only one discount coupon can be used at a time. If you are using a coupon we have sent to you for money off of your order, or Free S&H, you can not use another coupon during that order. If you use the New Customer discount coupon on BabyLegs, then it will superseed the Free Shipping offer (as it will give you a better savings!) A discount coupon may be used with a gift certificate.Thank you.
